About the Owner

My name is Chris Mason I ‘m a second-generation pest control guy who’s been in this business over 20 years.

After leaving school he served the people by working for Queensland Police as a Mechanic and Amry Reserves. I got his Pest License in 2001 (PMT12830) and worked part-time in the family business.

I took up my dad’s offer to work for him at Mason Pest Control in 2003. So, I left the QPS and Amry Reserves to purse a full time career in the family business.

After working with Mason Pest control for about 20 years his dad decided to pass on the business. As a owner operator I continue to be hands-on personal serving our customers.

Chris is a native of Redlands, he has almost his entire adult life here. He and his partner Merryl have always loved Brisbane and Redlands and chose to stay here to school their young daughter. He is also an avid reader with a preference for non-fiction books about history, science and business.

Lord Mayor’s Australia Day Achievement Award Winner – 2011

Gary's most courageous act of generosity was undergoing a live donor kidney transplant to assist a young man who was diagnosed with end stage renal failure. During this emotional time, Gary displayed a jovial outlook and provided emotional support to his family and all of those around him. Gary is a loving husband, father, caring friend, down-to-earth boatie and unsung hero. His sincerity and compassion for people and desire to help anyone in need are just a few of his qualities that brighten the lives of those who know or meet him.
